Attention! There has been an influx of scammer signups!

The method of operation is to private message you and tell you that you should contact such 'n such person at a given email address.

Please report the private messages. Staff will ban the offender, and I will implement an IP ban. Unfortunately these scammers are using VPN/proxy services, which may mean your VPN/proxy may be blocked.
Attention! About VPN's and foreign IP addresses.

When signing up, do so from a US based Internet Service Provider. Turn off any VPN/safe-browsing feature. Failure to do so will result with your new account denied.

If you run into a IP ban afterwards as a member, again - turn off your VPN or switch servers. We do not ban legit Internet Service Providers from the USA(exception for certain individual IP addresses). Free VPN's tend to get banned too. We try not to ban legit subscription VPN services, but they rarely label their IP blocks correctly.

If you run into an IP ban, it likely wasn't you.

"Women are to be believed" (a la Kavanaugh) is an absurdity. Almost as absurd as the statement that Ballsy Ford's story was credible.

As a police investigator, the first duty of an investigation is to establish whether or not a crime has been committed. Sad to say, more claims of rape were phony than real. The most usual reason being to have an explanation why they failed to come home at a normal time.

I knew a prosecuting attorney who volunteered to work with a victim's rights organization to, as she put it, have someone in there who has their feet on the ground.
