Scott Perry being on that list confuses the hell out of me. He's my rep and solid usually, especially on the 2A.
I'm not sure that list of supporters is complete. The ballotopedia page linked shows that 94%+ of the state house voted to put this on the ballot, and 100% of the state senate.

Is this really how constitutional changes are done in PA, by popular vote?
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

I think it has to be voted on by the House/Senate first. Not sure what the passage requirements are, but this one got pretty close to unanimous approval in both houses according to that link.

Another feel good law to go along with all the other feel good laws, vague and arbitrary. The main purpose of that law is to show the masses that they are "doing something".

Any law which presumes that the complainant is a "victim", PRIOR to trial, is bad law. It's wokeness.

It justifies coddling the accuser while penalizing the accused. The accused has a FEDERAL right to confront his accuser, we don't get to treat every whining adult the way we treat 5 year old kids who are sheltered from being cross-examined after their daddy molests them.

Jussy Smollet is not a victim. That pathetic baby doll who lied about Justice Kavanaugh is not a victim. MOST of the high-profile hate crime accusers turned out to be lying, and are not victims.

No, we will NOT wipe away a thousand years of legal tradition and just assume that the accused is a bad guy who deserves whatever happens to him, and every crying sociopath is a victim who needs to be hugged.

If you want our government to deprive another person of freedom and rights and lock them away, then act like a grownup and stand behind your accusations. And face the consequences.

The worst thing we could do is deprive accused citizens the right to pick the accusations apart, and that's what this travesty does. No wonder this is a Democrat initiative, most of the fake victims have been Democrats.

Look at how emotional the woke Left gets when you point out that the posterboy for gay hate crimes, Matthew Shepard, was NOT tortured and murdered by straight white Christian cowboys for sport, but in truth was a tortured for info on a drug shipment and murdered by a fellow drug dealer/gay prostitute.

The Left worships victims, and they despise you for ruining a good lie. They would happily kill you for spoiling their murder myths. We do not get to insulate the accusers from the accused. Some unpleasantness in court is not enough to justify sticking an innocent man into prison for years.

I am a firm believer that the D party is evil.

Therefore my decisions dont require a lot of research or thinking.

If Pelosi, Schumer, Wolf or Peduto is for it, i will vote no..

    Hasnt failed me yet.
