NIB Pre 70 series Colt National Match. I was 16 years old and my Dad's best friend sold it to me for $100.00.

Re: First Pistol ....What and When ?
T'was 1985 or so. Found a colt trooper mk III .357 advertised in the want ads in Okc.. I think I paid $250 for it.
That was a BUNCH of after-tax money for a SSgt.
Still gots it.
I regret selling the Ruger security six 4" stainless .357 I bought for My Sweet.Patootie shortly thereafter.
We did have food and lights that month, so it was a good decision. And i have replaced it recently.

First handgun was a slightly used XD45 compact from good ole Bee's Guns near Saltsburg.
Then I shot a Glock and I found my true path. Kicked the XD down the road and I'll never own another after joining the Glock cult.In America arms are free merchandise such that anyone who has the capital may make their houses into armories and their gardens into parks of artillery. - Ira Allen, 1796
