Of course it is, but that wasn't the point the OP is making.

It doesn't matter if you or I agree with him - that wasn't his point.

90% of this thread is replies that have nothing to do with what he is saying.

As to your opinion of me, I say to you counselor, stick it where the sun don't shine. You do realize that there can be other opinions of facts. Or didn't you learn that in law school? Give me one fact that I've misrepresented? PA law does not require a LTCF in order to conduct a FTF transfer of a long gun. Certain individuals within the state of PA have restricted their FTF transfers to ONLY those others who have a LTCF. This constitutes a bias towards other free and law abiding citizen. As a comparison, I noted that even a state as anti-gun as MD, we gun loving folks don't go as far as some in PA. I then asked why wouldn't a DL suffice. I've been told every excuse under the sun. This shoulda, woulda, coulda mentality is why I suggested many have the BGOS disease. Then I've been attacked personally by many here while others have stuck to the message/discussion at hand. For those who have conducted themselves with honor, I thank you for the civility. For those who feel the need to attack my person, I laugh at each and every comment. I hope it makes you feel better about yourself because surely I see some gun envy amongst you. I don't care what you say about me because after 34 years of working for the railroad, your comments are childish in the truest sense of the word.

I'm so glad I've found out that some PA residents can be just as an elitist group as anything in MD. Welcome to the club!

Now, please tell me where anything I've said or tried to explain to a group of elitist citizens who can't see that some do not or will not allow the state of PA to determine the condition of a free citizen of this state by purchasing a God given Right known as the LTCF?

I didn't have mine for a period of about 2 years a coupe of years back.
I knew the rules. No reason I couldn't "get one".

Probably not likely. One is a VP of a security firm making what 3-4 of you clowns are making on a yearly basis. The other is a new employee (just out of college) of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Philadelphia making $150k a year.

Since you know nothing of my children, I take your response as one of ignorance. Please conduct yourself with respect and honor. Oh wait, never mind!

Might be because virtually no one in MD actually HAS a conceal carry permit:

PA: 1.275M (2017) (12.8M total pop in 2018) or about 7% of population
MD: 17,414 (2017) (6M total pop in 2018) or about 0.3% of population

    https://www.gunstocarry.com/concealed-carry-statistics/

No one in PA is denying anyone their right to buy a gun. Go fucking buy one!

You, however, don't have the right to buy one FROM ME.

It is not that we won't sell to other gun loving folks, just that we want to do so in a way we have found to be reasonable for us that imparts a degree of security. As I stated before: I don't want to lose my gun rights and possibly more because of a deal in which I did not do my reasonable best to avoid problems.
I am not soliciting more state involvement in any transaction.

How many times has this been brought up in a court proceeding? This is why I've made the BGOS comment. This should, woulda, coulda mentality is fitting right in with the LEFT's plan for the future.

All I know is a good clown is hard to come by these days, and one can bring in some serious coin.

Anyway I thought the OP said he was done with thread Saturday night?

In all fairness I am not sure why anyone is speaking about his son's since they have zero stake in this dumpster fire.

Because you have all the data on what the rest of us do or don't make......

You'd have to pay me a lot more than $150K/year to work anywhere near Philadelphia. Or Maryland for that matter.

I disagree. They make frequent appearances here on PAFOA.
