Re: Question About Buying A Long Gun In PA
It's just a CYA measure, nothing more.Soon it may be moot.If some dims get their way all private sales will be outlawed.

Re: Question About Buying A Long Gun In PA
I pointed out way back with my first response in this thread..., the OP is setting up a false dichotomy.
I ask someone for LTCF for a FTF transfer. I do not support universal background checks.
They are not mutually exclusive. To suggest that just because I vet a buyer, I must support the Crown's oppression, is a fallacy. A false dichotomy. A false dilemma.
I honestly can't believe we keep going round and round on this merry-go-round.Life has a melody. Not great, not terrible.

Everyone that will sell guns on a handshake supports terrorism.

If we stop feeding the troll eventually it will go away and we can watch it talk to itself. On a side note I agree with your entire statement. The way this guy twists plain english to fit his version of the narrative he would like to portray keeps pointing me to democrat troll.

Re: Question About Buying A Long Gun In PA
Why don't the boys in PA have an LTCF? No handguns perhaps? Maybe they should sign up for PAFOA and ask the question themselves?
It is not that we won't sell to other gun loving folks, just that we want to do so in a way we have found to be reasonable for us that imparts a degree of security. As I stated before: I don't want to lose my gun rights and possibly more because of a deal in which I did not do my reasonable best to avoid problems.
I am not soliciting more state involvement in any transaction.Illegitimus non carborundum est

No. I dont support the government making it mandatory. Neither does anyone else here.
Less government is always better. Just covering my ass.
You're assertion that using the LTCF as an additional layer of self protection is the same as government involvement, is what makes you very very wrong here.
