Default Regarding fingerprint cards and NFA applications

    Hello All,

In the past seven years I have applied for and received a tax stamp for a suppressor and received my Type 3 FFL
In both cases I submitted the required “10-card”, fingerprint card, with the application. I am now planning to purchase another suppressor, actually two, and wonder if the 10-cards I already have on file are valid for this new application or if I will need to submit new ones.

    Thanks for any insight.

You need to send prints with each application.

Get them done electronically. Have several cards produced at that time. File for future use.

Thanks, guys. I did learn today that, at least here in Susquehanna township, the local police no longer do fingerprints. I’ll have to go to a county facility and pay $25 for the service.

It takes some practice, but you can do them yourself and save 25 bucks.

Is it true that once you send the cards in, they are valid for one year, and you can file for more stamps without sending more cards within that one year window?
