Talk about good luck, on Wed., I was coming home from a PAFOA classifieds meet up and ran into a neighbor of mine who lives about a half mile down the road. As we were talking, he mentioned that he had just purchased a run down house and garage between his home and mine. As we chit chatted he mentioned that it included 10 acres that paralleled the Big Elk Creek, I asked him if he minded if I bowhunted the property and he gave me permission to hunt it! SCORE!!

I don't usually head out much during the first couple weeks, but with low 30's predicted I'm heading out.

I'm 20 feet up in a tree right now waiting for a 2B doe.
Was 55, breezy. Nice morning.
Maples, cherry's and walnuts leaves starting to change.
Squirrels and chippies everywhere.
Temps are dropping. It'll be a nice morning tomorrow.
