I've never had to submit a driver's license verification to Lucky Gunner. Been buying from them for years now. I think you was scammed.

Sorry, LG in this case mean "lucky gunner."

    From your own link:
Lucky Gunner is able to ship ammo to Pennsylvania with no known restrictions for customers at least 21-years-old.

Specifically the language of "A person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree if he sells or causes to be sold or leases to any person under 18 years of age any deadly weapon, cartridge, gunpowder, or other similar dangerous explosive substance." This is not intended to be legal advice for you personally, it is only a contributing factor upon which we have based our decision."

Somehow, cynic that I am, there's a backstory going on I don't know about. But, is what it is. I'll find another place to do business with, although that's sorta like the old "shuttin' the door after the horses have long gone." That the change was never posted in the clear is what pissed me off. And I'll shortly tell them that.

Are there many under 18s out there with a legal, valid credit card? One would expect that a "verify your age" pop up or provision or a valid credit card (or BOTH) are reasonable "due diligence" on their part to be in compliance with their cited statute.

Of course, they can require whatever they want, but if the DL is "required", then it's a no-go for me.

Nah, this was 5 years ago but thanks for the info!

I thought LG stood for Lousy Gougers. Lot of balls selling a brick of Thunderbolts for $100, when 22lr got really scarce.

I had a debit card for my checking account at 13 or so but that was 20 years ago

I have the equivalent of a rotary file, in alphabetical order, keeping all the requirements to log in. A couple or few required that I state my date of birth. They got a date in the ball park, but not the actual.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.
