The person that I spoke to came to the Pittsburgh Rally and I saw him again at the recent Ohio rally that I attended.

The crux of his defense of Dorr is that "Buckeye Firearms Association" exists to protect politicians, and are the source of the campaigns against Dorr. He said that BFA gutted Ohio's stand your ground bill so that the politicians wouldn't have to vote on it.

I asked him about Dorr's finances and where the money goes that he takes in. he said that Dorr did a live broadcast that broke down BFA's contributions and where their money went vs Ohio Gun Owners. (I'll try to post this from my phone after posting this). Dorr had the Federal Nonprofit paperwork and read straight from that.

I asked him why other groups in other states, including other state representatives, speak out against Dorr, and it was the same response, "they exist to protect politicians."

Again, I am personally going to treat anything involving Dorr with caution, and I'm certainly not going to contribute any funds towards them. I'll save them for FOAC and other such established and proven organizations.

This is the best I can do for the video. It's 2 hours and I have not watched it.

    Have duly edited the title.

Yes, when I googled it, without the Inc. included, PAFOA came up 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the results, FOAC came up 4th, and no mention of PFA Inc. on the first page (at least on my computer). It was #4 on page 2 and that was a pdf of what they sent to Senator Baker during the Sep 24 and 25 hearings.

If one looks at their affiliates page ('https://www.pennsylvaniafirearmsassociation.org/affiliated-groups/') it appears like 3/4 of their so called affiliates were put together by the same person or group. This really looks like a get rich quick by riding the coattails of public sentiment and PAFOA.

Google Dorr Brothers and come to your own conclusions. I want to make clear that I'm not saying they are guilty of anything, I'm just saying that there's enough doubt that *I* personally won't be sending any money their way. Make your own decisions.

I suppose it's possible that many gun rights groups across many states AND the media are out to get them.

I didn't have to cherry pick results.

Yeah I like how most of the other states listed there have nearly identical logos to PAFOA, but this PFA outfit isn't using the same style. Totally not done to dodge a trademark lawsuit. This whole thing looks like an attempt to take PAFOA nationwide (and for profit) by some unaffiliated third party.

    From their about me,

What about the other gun groups?
There are some groups that do a great job at educating people about gun safety, attending gun shows and even monitoring the political process. But the fact is, gun owners need an attack dog. They need an organization that will fight back against anti-gun lawmakers with as much ferocity as they use in attacking us. That is the Pennsylvania Firearms Association.

We don’t care if you are a Republican, Democrat, Independent, the Governor himself, or a newly elected freshman — if you come after our gun rights, we will be aggressively coming after you. Can gun owners throw out gun grabbers in the deep blue seats of Philly or Pittsburg? Maybe not. But we don’t have to.

As we grow and have the means to do so, we will expose the weakest anti-gun incumbents in both caucuses and hammer them in their districts with everything we have. Gun owners in our state are not feared, and as a result are not respected. That lack of respect has allowed far too many attacks on our gun rights by Republicans to go unanswered.

It’s time that lawmakers in Harrisburg fear gun owners again — or pay a steep political price for their betrayals. If you are sick of Harrisburg warring against gun owners, I hope you’ll join us. If you are tired of weak organizations that seem to focus more of their time on getting ‘selfies’ with lawmakers than fighting for you, I hope you’ll join us.

And if you want to be a part of the hardest hitting, no punches pulled, absolutely unapologetic gun rights organization in Pennsylvania, I hope you’ll join us!

    For Freedom,

    Jason Johansen
    Chairman
    Pennsylvania Firearms Association

Also, their address is a box in a UPS store in Harrisburg.

Dorr does not, but it appears the "chairman" lives in Philly.

Here's a video of Dorr at the hearings introducing himself. He talks a good game.

This is what a friend from Iowa sent me,

"I learned a lot working on the pro-gun cause in Iowa. Chris Dorr is from Iowa. His dad was a right wing religious fund raiser who burned gay library books and stuff for money. It started with Aaron who went to work with a nutty (genuinely nutty) tea party type state Senator. Aaron facilitated a bribe from Ron Paul’s campaign for an endorsement and ended up getting the state Senator prison time, Aaron somehow walked away without a scratch even though he testified to his involvement. Him and Chris’s then decided to get in the gun game. Chris actually stole the contact list and and data from the homeschool lobby (he acknowledged in an official statement from the investigation) and then they used it to start sending out ‘sky is falling’ type mailers to raise money. His brothers and him would go into the capitol and make angry outraged videos, demand money, and never actually talk to anyone or do anything. Outrage, ask for money, repeat. They were called out as a scam by Iowa legislators and Minnesota legislators. They setup home addresses at ups stores in each of these states, have relatives and a dead guy as officers and use their non profit status to claim zero compensation and divert almost all of the money to fundraising and printing/mailing expenses. Now, who does that go to? Midwest Freedom Enterprises LLC. They have the exact same mailing address as Iowa Gun Owners. Minnesota Gun Rights, Ohio Gun Owners, Iowa gun owners, etc all send the money back to the Dorrs
LLC in Des Moines and they’re making bank off scamming gun owners. They stir anger by bashing republicans and other gun groups to look more righteous, but they never do anything. The Minnesota legislators have Ben Dorr on audio tape secret recordings admitting to a ton of this."
