Re: Finding a Non-Resident permit to Enhance my PA License to carry
I dont think it initially took too long when i initially applied, but i am halfway through my first renewal cycle now.
My first New Hampshire permit, back in 2009, accidentially got mailed to someone in the south because my envelope was stuck to theirs! They were nice enough to re-mail it to me.

Re: Finding a Non-Resident permit to Enhance my PA License to carry
I just renewed my Utah. Did it online, $25.75. The renewed license arrived in one week. I had been informed to expect it in two-four weeks.

Re: Finding a Non-Resident permit to Enhance my PA License to carry
I requested the AZ application packet online. It says once I mail everything back to them, it could take up to 75 days to receive my permit.

Re: Finding a Non-Resident permit to Enhance my PA License to carry
Since it is fairly close, I would recommend getting a Virginia non-resident permit. If you do a lot of traveling south, it gives you a license issued by a rather large state, which in my mind beats trying to explain the concept of reciprocity on the side of the road at night. The application process can all be done by mail.

Re: Finding a Non-Resident permit to Enhance my PA License to carry
I got my AZ permit application packet over the weekend. Just filled out the forms, got fingerprinted, and sent it in with a copy of my DD214 and money order. I know it's a long shot, but wouldn't it be awesome if I got it back by the end of next week? I fly out to Vegas on the 18th. It would be great to be able to carry there. I know, I know - I won't get my hopes up lol.

Re: Finding a Non-Resident permit to Enhance my PA License to carry
FYI - My packet was returned to me the following week. I did not fill in my DOB on one of the fingerprint cards. Made the correction and mailed it out AGAIN. A couple of days after I returned from my Vegas vacation, my permit arrived. So, if you fill out the forms CORRECTLY, you can do this in about 2 weeks.
