I just arrived at my hotel, will this pin point be our official meeting spot? When are people going to start showing up before the rally and what’s the nearest metro station?

If coming from Orange, Blue, or Silver lines: I believe Capitol South or Federal Center are the closest Metro stops.

If coming from Red line: I believe Judiciary Square is closest. *See note.

*Note: wmata (DC Metro authority) is advising that attendees for the Nats parade will likely use Judiciary Square, Federal Triangle, or Archives since these stations are closest to the parade route, so it may be best to avoid those stations, if possible, especially when heading home.

Sitting peacefully in my Lay-Z-Boy, drinking coffee, watching the news and tooling around on here. At 0800 my partner in crime should arrive and we'll embark on our trek down the long twin steel rails starting in Bridgeport, PA to 69th St Station to 30th St Station and down to DC via Amtrak, through the finest of neighborhoods the East Coast has to offer.

Just a heads up some septa trains are late do to a train down on the tracks. Walleye and I are trying to get around it by taking another route. Hopefully we make it.
