Why on earth would you ever testify against yourself? We have the 5th amendment, you know.

Not for long if the Dems win in 2020!

As it stands now , invoking the 5th is an admission of guilt.

A simple answer for this is if you have another pistol upper just put that on the lower first. Nothing in the law about needing to shoot it in any configuration.

You can even cheat that a bit using an a5 length buffer tube, gets you down to 11" barrel territory.

Not so, this was addressed by the ATF a few months ago. There is a p00fa thread about it.

It is true. Only thing that changed was the latest clarification that it had to be measured in its smallest condition. Folded if it folds, bare fixed tube if it's fixed. >26" OAL and it can go back and forth between a pistol and a "firearm" simply by adding a VFG or taking it off. "Title 1 firearm others" can't be concealed on ones person though or it then becomes an AOW. And yes it's been discussed into the ground and the information is scattered but clear if you follow this kind of stuff.

That is backwards. Pistol first then rifle then pistol. Rifle first sbr next or nothing but another rifle.

I got my SBA3 pistol brace in, but don't have my 2nd pistol lower completed and that brace doesn't fit a pistol tube, so I couldn't try it out on my other pistol. I removed the MFT Minimalist stock from a carbine and slid the SBA3 brace onto the tube. NICE!

Did I just "reconfigure it" into a "long barreled pistol"??? LOL!!!
No the barrel length is the issue. You redesigned the brace into a stock. I’m not into speculating anything going forward.
