    Lol.
How does it handle? Follow up shots , ok? Or heavier recoil?

I was about to say that I didn't pay a lot of attention since I was mostly just blasting away to put it through it's paces to see if it failed in any way.
Then I remembered that after running through a mag in my 5.56 carbine, I grabbed the 7.62x39 pistol when we were doing the pumpkin shoot.
All the pumpkins were smallish - maybe "head size". I hadn't sighted it in, but at about 30 feet I was able to hit a pumpkin and keep hitting it while firing at a steady pace - not as fast as I can pull the trigger, but fairly quickly.

Recoil as best I can remember is more of a push back vs having the muzzle climb. I'll have to pay closer attention the next time I shoot it, but I thought it was plenty controllable. Everyone who shot it said it had more "oomph" to it than shooting a 5.56 pistol, "But it's not bad at all".

Also, the last time I shot it when I was using the other lower outfitted with a Shockwave Blade, I felt the recoil - my shoulder could still feel it later that night and I only put about 60-80 rounds through it at that time.
The difference is night and day when shooting it with the SB Tactical SBA3 brace. I just pressed my fingertips into my shoulder just now to see if I had any residual soreness from shooting today and I feel nothing.
SBA3 brace - I approve! I won't rush out to replace the Shockwave Blade on my 5.56, but it was a good move to use the SBA3 on this particular gun.

    Oh yeah, no fireballs either.

The interwebs said there would be fireballs.

    It was a lie.

As one of many who had the chance to run a short mag through EM's creation, have to give it a serious thumbs up. Definitely more push back than muzzle rise, and I found I need to stay on top of the recoil. I thought I was balanced, but had to readjust once to lean in just a bit more than with a 5.56 AR pistol. It's got the shorty wow factor too.......handed it back to him and later that night found myself looking over the parts list and his build thread. I do think I will get started on my own copy of it.

The beauty of this caliber in an AR15 is that there are only three (3) parts that are specific to 7.62x39...
    1. BCG (technically just the bolt)
    2. Barrel
    3. Magazine

All other parts are the same as any other 5.56 AR15.
An enhanced firing pin and a Wolff extra power hammer spring are suggested for reliable detonation of steel case and almost all 7.62x39 BCGs now come with an enhanced firing pin standard.

Also, velocity and effectiveness of the round are not drastically handicapped by the short 7" barrel like it is in 5.56.

Yep, been thinking of an EM style Commie Cal Pistol myself. That and a carbine to go with. Now, if I could only find the funds.
