Default Glock 19 carbine conversion kits

I've seen a few of these around, where you can transform your 19 to a carbine. Anyone have any experience with them? Any of them any good?
    TIA

I don't have one myself and have thought of getting the CAA a number of times to mess around with but never did. I hear their latest generation model is the best and most reliable.

I watched this a week or two ago which shows a number of different options out there and their pros and con's.

Here's one just dedicated to the new CAA MCK and the differences between that and the older Micro Roni.

    That's a PISTOL ^^^ by the way.

These have been around for a long time. (for Glock and for 1911)
Here's a fairly recent video. I never got one, but would like to. Would make my G19 worth owning.

It would also make your Glock really heavy. Those Mech Tech uppers are cool, but they ain't light.

Good to know. Maybe the G19 can just continue to collect dust.
I started out as an AK guy, but all these years later, I'm all about the lightweight AR15 stuff.

I've had the Mechtech for the G19 for a few years. It works fine, very accurate. At the time I got it, Ruger had not yet come out with their PCC which I now also have.

Mechtech has a forum which provides interesting reading. The Mechtech is considered an accessory and is sold like other parts and accessories. Some folks have bought 80% receivers, a Mechtech, and built themselves a carbine.

Glocks and 1911s are the orginal AR lego guns of the handgun world.. lol
Glocks have surpassed 1911s tho in custom parts, options, and accessories i think.
