The former Texas congressman is slated to campaign in Western Pennsylvania on Wednesday and Thursday, though details were not immediately available.

His website, however, lists a town hall in Erie for Thursday afternoon at Lavery Brewery.

Of 19 candidates left in the Democratic field, Mr. O'Rourke has been one of the most vocal advocates for gun control measures, and — after a shooting in his hometown of El Paso in August that killed 22 people — said at the most recent Democratic debate, "Hell, yes, we're going to take your AR-15, your AK-47."
