Better than finding a dead rat, not as good as finding a mint Python (revolver, not snake )

I found about 8 dead birds in my house

Also a skeleton made out of pipe cleaners that wanks when you pull a string on it's back.

Well if that was left behind, you may find more. Check the entire house with a fine tooth comb.

I've been just starting to check every nook and cranny of the house I recently purchased. I've already found some ammo stashes that look to of been a kid's forgotten treasures. I found a small wooden box up on a basement wall full of old pistol and rifle ammo. There is some US 45ACP and German 8mm Mauser that have headstamp markings thatdates it to pre-WW2 manufacture as well as a number of mixed pistol rounds I don't recognize. I will have to go through it and post pictures. Then I found a ziploc bag of 5.56 ammo on the same wall further down the house. I did find a side by side shotgun action and barrels with exposed hammers and no furniture in the basement ceiling while cleaning out. I looked it up and found it has damascus barrels, no parts available, and no value even if it was all there, so I scrapped it.

Get a metal detector and sweep the insulation in the attic.
