New Pythons in January?

Thoughts? I admit that I'm interested. Despite certainly not needing any more 357 revolvers, if these retail under $1K, I will probably break out the credit card.

As great as the old Pythons are, and I had one, the lockwork was ANCIENT and prone to going out of time. I'd love to see a new Python with updated lockwork. I doubt if they will be able to recreate the bluing though, but still it would be good news.

I seriously doubt that they will retail under 1K. At least not when they hit the shelves. So far nothing on their website.

If they're not, they're not. Just, I will personally lose a great deal of interest if the price tag is over a grand. It's not as if these are going to be hand crafted.

The current King Cobra in .357 is $900 (list). Add adjustable sites and it is $1000.

Three inch king cobras are on grabagun for $786 with $8 shipping. For $2k they can keep them. I'm sure they will sell some, but not to me. $1250 is the absolute limit of my interest.

My thinking too, OP will be lucky if they're under 2k. Don't expect to get one when they come out either, they're going to be sucked up by speculators.

Under 1k is probably wishful thinking but no matter the cost I'm sure these Pythons will sell. Hopefully they'll come in under 2k and be affordable to the average Joe.

A revolver between 1K to 2K isn't exactly cheap either. Between a suspected high price and unknown quality it might just get lost in the crowd. Will they launch the more impressive stainless steel or nickel plated on just a blued version? Will they offer the shorter barrel sizes? I wouldn't be surprised if they only offer a blued version with a six inch barrel. If Colt is really remaking the python I guess in time we will see what they will do with it
