Berks Sheriff Weaknecht on Wolfe's Task Force

I think this is a huge benefit. Sheriff Weaknecht is a staunch 2A republican. Hope that his voice of reason is heard.

I've only seen the Reading Eagle article. If you don't subscribe, you can see 2 or 3 articles a month. Otherwise there's a full page ad and you can read the text slightly grayed out.

This story was reported in the newspaper this AM. Weaknecht is quoted as having said that there are enough laws on the books to solve the problems and that, as he sees it, the biggest problem is throwing out the gun charges to secure a plea bargain. It's not often that I get to read a 2A article that leaves me with a good feeling but that one did. It's good to have him on our side.

Plea deals work great for prosecutors, they get a win on their record without having to go to trial and argue their case.
