Do you carry a truck gun?

Short video on keeping a gun (long gun) in your vehicle. Does anyone do this? What are your thoughts on wisdom/safety of having an unsecured weapon always in your vehicle? Any PA laws to be concerned about with this practice? What is your weapon of choice and storage (incl mags/ammo) method?

In any case, I like this guy's videos. An unpretentious ex-Navy Seal with a sense of humor who has assorted content including his Seal training experiences, deployments, equipment, tactical and shooting instruction, fitness & nutrition, etc.

PA law prohibits transport of loaded long guns, you would have to have it unloaded while under way. A way around this is AR pistols with brace and shorter than 16" barrel.

What Jay Smith said and the braced AR pistol can be carried freely and loaded if you have a LTCF. An unloaded long gun in your vehicle could be a problem unless you are on your way to or from a range, a gunsmith, hunting or such. It's a little vague. The LTCF offers no protection for long guns.

I have a folding stock ar15 in SBR It folds to 21" But I dont trust it staying in the truck all the time.

I've never heard of the guy before but I checked out a few of his video offerings.He certainly has some interesting things to say....such as, using a fork and knife to eat a cooked steak affects its nutritional value.

As far as I understand it, all NFA items must be stored under lock and key unless under the direct supervision of the stamp holder. But I'm not an expert so don't take this as legal advice.
