    Default Brownells as a sponsor?

Just curious about having Brownells as a sponsor. I use Ad-Block with my Firefox browser. Does PAFOA get paid everytime the ad appears and I am preventing them from getting money because I am using Ad-Block? Or does PAFOA get paid everytime someone clicks on the ad?

Just curious as to how it is setup so I am not screwing PAFOA.

Dan said somewhere else that the PAFOA gets a percentage from all sales that originate from the banner link. So if you're gonna buy at Brownells, start from the PAFOA's link!

and we are actually starting to see some revenue from that banner.

(all of which goes into the general fund, which pays our hosting fees)

We get a 5% commission on all sales, which eventually I plan on seeing if I can negotiate higher.

In the last 20 days it's brought in $123

Perhaps this info should be floating around where everyone can see it?
(Not everyone has access to this portion of the forum)

It pays to advertise... to use the advertisement. Or something like that.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Yeah I haven't bothered advertising much because the ad placement is terrible. I literally just threw it in there as a "crap better try to make SOME money" thing.

We're working on more appropriate ad placements for this stuff.

we're working on new ad placements which are less ... ugly

..and maybe a few extra ads for non-logged-in guest lurkers.

I actually think it looks good, it just doesn't center right in my browser since the forum updates...

Ive been playing with putting ads in some more places. Non-logged-in-people are going to be seeing lots of ads now. They account for like 75% of our traffic.

My goal is to be making $250/mo off of our affiliate ads within the next 2-3 months (coincidentally our hosting bill)
