Heberlings near Honesdale
Been here a few times and they've always been helpful & have a ton of stuff on hand and are more than willing to order something for you. I haven't spent a boat load of cash there but I keep going back for more. I'll probably wind up getting my shotgun from there as well unless I find a great deal on GB or Armslist. They're also really responsive to FB messages and their prices are good. Online retailers beat them if you're going to order in bulk but otherwise I can't complain. I haven't seen anything outlandishly priced in there. Oh, they also have pups roaming the shop & yard so there's that too

I agree they're very nice to deal with. Purchased a new Taurus ultralight revolver from them a few months ago, price was the best I had seen anywhere. I also follow them on Facebook and they do post a lot of specials. It's probably better that I don't live quite so close
I'm faster than Doc Holliday (with Novocaine of course)

Re: Heberlings near Honesdale
Heberling's is on route 6 in Prompton, between Honesdale and Waymart. Not to far outside Honesdale on the right, I don't remember any roadside signs but you can see the shop from the road. Good selection of ammo and guns and the pups roaming around are a plus. If you don't like dirt then this place is not for you, they run a wood stove and the ash is everywhere and thick. they have an onsite range as well.

If you don’t know what you’re looking for you’ll miss it and it may or may not be open. It’s an interesting place but super exciting as you never know what you’ll unearth.

My advice is to dig. You stand a chance of finding a good gem in there. Once you see it you’ll understand

Re: Heberlings near Honesdale
On route 6, left if coming from Carbondale or the Casey, bottom of the hill, River Road, prompton road is right there too. The shop is literally right there, big white garage basically but there aren't any huge signs or anything. There's definitely a few gems there, last time I was there they had an ithica 37 that I REALLY wanted to take home but the boss said no 😠
