GOA emails working, asking for more to US House to keep pressure on GOP

Does anyone know if they're on Amazon Smile? I have the NRA Defense Fund designated now. Tried searching for GOA last week to switch and could not find them. Are they under another name? I tried long name and "GOA".

Thanks. They forgot about the "A" in GOA...why I couldn't find it.

I double checked and it must be them...both listed in Springfield, VA.

Switching it now.

I still support the NRA, but I've been very active with my GOA membership and I feel like they're doing a better job right now. Plus, they're smaller, they need more support to grow.

Pretty much all of these gun groups have two or more orgs with different tax statuses. I believe Gun Owners Foundation is filed in such a way that donations can be tax-deductible or something, hence the GOF instead of GOA. I believe the funds to the tax-deductible orgs are more limited in what they can be used for (e.g. fighting court cases before Supreme Court, etc.) rather than legislative activism so that's the reason for the split. NRA has their defense fund, FPC has the FPF. This is also why we sometimes see matching contribution offers for these tax-deductible orgs.
