They need to make drug overdoses legal and narcan illegal for First Responders. That would cut down on the opiod crisis in the state. No more SoE.

Re: 9/12/19 Wolf reinstates the State of emergency....AGAIN!
The only reason for the SoE declaration is so that the state can bypass normal acquisition policies to get the narcan. I think an audit needs to be done on what this is actually costing the state to continue this SoE and bypass those policies.

Re: 9/12/19 Wolf reinstates the State of emergency....AGAIN!
As a recovered opiate addict who lost a sister to an overdose I believe it is an adults rights to use dangerous narcotics. It's nobody's job to protect you from yourself. The War on Drugs isn't the reason I got clean and it obviously didn't save my sister. If anything it makes the situation worse. Narcotics prohibition just creates a profitable black market for criminals to exploit and the drugs being sold are impure and laced with all sorts of crazy shit making them more dangerous. Furthermore, prohibition forces addicts to resort to crime to support their habit. Addicts who don't respond to treatment should be able to get their dose of smack from a clinic. It will be of pure quality and used in a medical setting. It will take the market away from criminal cartels and addicts wouldn't have to resort to crime to support their habit as it could be sold much cheaper than the black market rate. Rant over.......
