I've participated in hostage negotiation training with the local Quick Response Team (SWAT) before. Got shot at with training rounds from an AR, put in a choke hold, carried down stairs by arms and feet. Was fun.

Anything to support the local police.

We have virtual reality headsets for active shooter training at Walmart, but I've yet to hear of anyone using them.
Our active shooter training is watching a video every 3 months.

They're also supposed to be used for other training, like how to interact with customers.

You're shit out of luck on public transportation unless you are or there is a concealed/open carrier on the bus, trolley or train. Employees are forbidden to carry and there are no instructions or training for active shooter on public transportation vehicles.
