    Default Turning anguish into action.

Earlier this evening, I attended an even put on by CeaseFire PA and Squirrel Hill United Against Gun Violence.

I was surprised, Rob Conroy recognized me and knew who I was.

I took a copy of their flyer outlining their week of action. They plan to launch a campaign of telephone calls to a bunch of elected officials.

I wanted to bring this information here so we can arrange to have a calling campaign of our own.

What was the turnout like, public attendance vs paid organizers?

It wasn't a rally so there was no need for paid participants. There were less than 20 people (other than the organizers) in the room.

I'm like teflon compared to those demons. None of their stink even got near me.

That is consistent with everything I have seen them do.
They are just a paid lobby setting up press events with a colluding Liberal Democrat dominated major media.
They have almost no grassroots involvement at all.

This was their attempt to cultivate grass roots.

They're doing another meeting next Tuesday. I'm going to that one too.

I'll be posting what I find out on my Facebook page.
