Default SEPTA Police to Replace their Sigs with Glocks

After a recent incident in which a SEPTA transit officer's service weapon fired without manipulation, while holstered the agency will discontinue their use of the Sig P320 handguns.
The officer was exiting a patrol car when he "heard a loud bang" and then smelled discharged gun powder. The officer then noticed that his Sig Sauer P320 had fired while it was secured in his holster.
SEPTA has made an emergency purchase of 350 new Glock 17s and holsters to replace the Sigs, according to reports.
Looks like there might be an abundance of former SEPTA Sigs on the market soon.

Doughnut dust covering the firing pin block is hardly a defect.

I have consumed many donuts in my career. Never did I get any donut dust, powdered sugar or crumbs in, on or around my firearm.

My niece is a Philadelphia detective and is too busy to eat any donuts. How is switching to Glocks any better?

We get police traded sigs. Then a few years later we get police traded glocks.

Why don't they test them before buying them? I know, I know, that would make too much sense.

I'm not a Sig guy (other than my P210-6) but if I could get one of those cheap I'd take the plunge.
