Electric cars should have an extra $2000 tax on them as well as a 6 month to 1 year waiting period before you can take possession after purchase and tax is paid. They're too quiet and the only reason to have one is so you can run down pedestrians without them hearing you coming.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

There's no need for electric vehicles. Far to quiet and very dangerous for most drivers. Do you realize how many children will run right into the path of a super quiet electric vehicle? They are not worth the risk. If just 1 child can be saved, then we have to outlaw electric vehicles. Don't even get me started about the new electric motorcycles!!!
