    Default IWI Masada

Hey all, anyone handled a Masada or seen one in a LGS? It seems to be getting good reviews... Thoughts?

When was the last time a gun magazine gave any new gun a bad review?

I bet it's pretty nice but I am happy enough with my Baby Desert Eagle which was made by the same company.

I like how it says “Middletown, PA” on the slide.

I've been keeping an eye out for it because I want an optics ready pistol but no luck. I haven't seen one in any of my shops. I'd order one but not without having held one. I care way less about the trigger than controls and grip texture. I want an aggressive grip with a normal angle (not glock-like), a slide release that's big enough to easily use but not in a position that I'll end up holding it down by accident. I did hold an FN 509 midsize tonight and really liked it but I'm buying a Beretta M9A1 next week so I couldn't afford another one right now. The FN is definitely worth checking out.

got one a few months ago , real smooth shooter, eats everything . Put like 300 thru it so far , not a hitch !! I love it
gotta aim a little high but just put a romeo 1 on it but didn't really get it sighted in yet ... didn't want to mess with it while at gtc, was afraid I'd get screamed at . lol

One of the guns I'm kicking myself for not buying is a used IWI Masada that came with several magazines for an unbelievable price about a month ago. Unfortunately, I was so content with another $1500 purchase at the same time that I passed on the deal. Kick, kick, kick...

In my opinion the grip is too long for conceal carry. I heard a rumor that IWI was trying to produce a compact version. I might be interested in a compact version but not the full size.
