Default Possible Aassault Weapons Bans. Are you buying possibly banned firearms?

What are your thoughts on the possibility of a new firearms ban? Can/will it happen?

Is anyone purchasing lowers or full rifles that may be banned if the assault weapons ban in reinstated?

    Specifically:

H.R. 1022: Assault Weapons Ban and Law Enforcement Protection Act of 2007
H.R. 6257: Assault Weapons Ban Reauthorization Act of 2008

Let's be honest here if anyone but Nobama wins in November you'll be able to knock me over with a feather, no small task as those who have met me will atest. That being the case it only makes sense to be sure that you own any firearms that you want/can before he takes office because gun owners WILL come under attack once he is in power.

I agree, but I built my AR-10 EBR now just in case.

Agreed.....If you want one, buy it now....Hi cap mags too.

I have one complete AR at the moment, and I also have two lowers that I am build up right now. I will also be buying a few more lowers.

    In addition to the AR's, I have a Sig 556, Yugo AK47, HK USC, PTR91, GSG-5.
I also have a total of about 45 high capacity mags between all of my rifles, and I am still buying more.

Congressional races are key too. If they get a majority we are in a heap o' trouble. The Politburo will be knocking, and not just for AW.

I just finished my AR-15 build, and am planning the next two already. Making plans to buy the lowers next month.
