    IS HE STILL IN PRISON?
No. Heard back from a friend who's been in direct contact with Pete. If I understand correctly, he was ROR'd by the judge. Due back in court on the 19th.

Too bad he can't just relocate to a "sanctuary state". Still a big upheaval, but probably preferable to the other alternative.

So the judge admitted he's not a danger to anyone.

Is there a defense fund yet?

While he made the mistake of crossing into NJ, it still should not go down like this for someone whose worse offense was a missed turn signal. I wonder if he thought his NJ firearms license was still valid?
Literally what I was thinking I had to read back through before I asked the question glad someone else sees the stupidity.

Gotta keep NJ safe for all the illegal's who are presently being given sanctuary by arresting a U.S. citizen under a bad law. Illegals good, American citizen bad - that's about the size of it for the craphole of NJ.

If what I was told about Pete being released on his own recognizance is accurate, then yes I'd assume the judge didn't think he'd be a threat or flight risk. Hopefully it turns out well for him. I guess we'll know more after the 19th when he goes back to court.

Screw the court in NJ. Now that he is back home in Pa, perhaps he should not go back because the man is toast in any NJ courtroom. NJ no longer has the PTI (Pre Trial Intervention) program available for gun offences, so it is a pretty sure thing that upon conviction he will do jail time. The question that I have is if he does not return to NJ, will Pa extradite him back there for "crimes" that are not crimes in Pa? Unjust laws are laws that need not be respected or followed.

Wolf and Shapiro would definitely cooperate with the enemy.

Which brings to mind, if he were a illegal alien, all he would have to do is
stay in nj in a sanctuary city. Then again, if he were a illegal alien, this
    wouldn't be news.

I always hear that the military and police would never support confiscation of firearms. Guess again.
