That would be for Mr Nappen to decide based on a meeting with the defendant. While it all sounds really bad and careless we don’t have all the details.

i said "it isn't like" hence it being a pickle.
it didn't appear to be an innocent incident like the others, as people mentioned, this took a bit of effort or a cascade of failures.
i'll rag on the guy a bit, he really does deserve some head shaking "tsk tsk" but i will also support him because regardless of if he was just being lazy and risking it (that's how you end up with babies you weren't ready for) or somehow won the collosal mistake lottery or even was trying to be the maryter, we all hang together or we WILL hang seperately now more than ever we need to unify and fill that "well regulated" bit out a bit better.
so fuck all our 9mm Vs 45, they're both guns damnit, means we've all got a huge target on our backs right now.

I will sign the petition, but who leaves 6 firearms in their truck overnight? I don't care where you live, I just can't see that. Then to drive into NJ with a firearm AND ammo on the seat next to you??? I could possibly understand the firearm behind his seat, but he knew what he was doing.

I know he has a bunch of friends on this forum, but has anyone asked him WTF he was thinking? I gotta say, I would have to question his story as it's being told today.

He was not traveling in unknown territory. As the story goes, he drove into NJ regularly for work.

    WHY?

I signed as #77, but have the same reservations as j h smith above.
Why do people fearing guns call persons with guns (cops) when threatened?

Signed and verified. Funny how New Jersey's cities are saturated with armed felons yet their draconian laws only snare law-abiding citizens who make a wrong turn into their police state.
