It should be illegal to be a Democrat. That particular political entity supported slavery, so much so that they went to war to keep their "peculiar institution". They also supported Jim Crow laws and segregation, a "separate but equal" idea of theirs. And even today, they by and large abhor the U.S. Constitution and violate it regularly - in my book that is treason. Yes, the Democrat Party should be outlawed because of it's crimes against the American people.
