Default Places to shoot 50 BMG?

    Hey guys,

I'm new here and got into the large and ridiculous stuff. I'm looking for places to put my 50 bmg long distance shots to practice. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Joe

Also interested. I only have colorful ammo, no ball.

University rifle allows .50 BMG. The range is up too 600 yards long, with steel all over the range. Only ball is allowed, so no AP, no Tracer, no Raufoss rounds.

The address is 550 Schoffers Rd, Reading, PA 19606

To be honest, ball is boring as hell. It does nothing but put holes in things.
The rainbow ammo now is another thing, so much fun to shoot, you dont
even need sights, just follow the little red fireball.
Here is my bro in law on the gun and me filming. Its @ 200yrds hitting a 1"
    thick road plate with APIT's.

I don't know of any range that will allow that fancy red light ammo. However, I've got some property where I shoot in WV and I can usually shoot anything there. Although, this time of year, I will never shoot that "rainbow" ammo. Too much of a chance of starting a fire.

That all well and good on your personal range, however on a club range ball it is.

I would be glad to share some of my tracer and other stuff if we could go to your range.
