Default Just opened a new store in Croydon

I don't know if it's OK to post this here, if not I understand.

I just want to get the word out and not sure how to let local people know I just opened a small retail gun store in Croydon.

Not totally open yet and don't even have the sign on the roof. But once the kids start school I am going to try to be there a lot. It's right on 13 across the street from 7-11.

I used to just do gunshows but taking a big leap trying to do a store.

We have a facebook page and just posted some cool deals. M&P 2.0s under dealer price etc.

We do NFA too and gunsmithing.

    What's a banner section?

Also I know I won't make a ton of money. If I can cover the rent I will be happy. Guns have about 8% profit.

    That's not a bad idea.

I asked about posting it because I know some forums have rules about that or want you to pay fees. I'm a stay at home dad and the wife is active duty.....so there isn't really money for advertising.

We have no problem with people advertising their own businesses on the forum as long as it's done honestly. That means no shill accounts telling how great your business is. You will get caught doing that.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

    Thank you.

I'm kind of up and running now. We are waiting for the landlord to fix the lighting on the roof sign so my sign guy can put the sign up. Until then people drive by and don't even know there is a gun shop there.

But the boy goes back to school Monday and the girl is in Pre-K this year so starting monday I am trying to be there 11-8 even though the sign isn't up. But what stinks is I have to close everyday from 2:30-4:00 to pick both kids up from school. Same school and it's going to take an hour and half almost.

But I figure that's not really a busy time of day so it might not be too bad to make it work.
