AR10 recommendations?
I already have an FN Herstal AR15 in 5.56 that I love shooting. The low recoil and accuracy makes it very fun to shoot.
I'm looking for a complete AR10 rifle around $1200 thats optics ready with preferably an 18" barrel and 20 or 30 round mag. My use for the rifle is long distance target shooting at the range. My local FFL has a Wyndham Weaponry AR10 in stock I been looking into for $1150. I can also order one to be shipped to FFL, any recommendations?

Check out this offerings from Stag and Aero Precision I believe MrGunsNGear does an in-depth review on each of them on his youtube channel. I remember the Stag being impressive for the price.

I have DPMS LR-308 and have no complaints. I did add a Timney trigger.

Aero.
This is one that I don’t think is easier to build than buy. I’ve gone both routes. It was no cheaper to build and with the amount of different patterns etc it gets squirrelly really quick

Re: AR10 recommendations?
I have had a few AR10s, one DPMS, two Armalites and a SIG 716 DMR. I am looking at possibly getting back into AR10s and IF I ever do I'm going to go with an Aero Precision rifle. They are NICE.
With all the AR10s I have had... I would rather spend the same amount of money on a way nicer bolt action and put the money saved on the rifle towards an amazing scope.
This is why I'm not running out to blow thousands on another AR10.
Semi auto 308s are NOT fun to shoot (weird recoil) or carry around (heavy).
I don't have a lot of money to burn through so it's not like I'm going to be doing mag dumps with a 308 anyway.
Did I just say that...
I must be getting old.Last edited by :-); September 14th, 2019 at 09:14 PM.

Gen 3 PA10 from PSA well under $700.00 if you buy the complete upper and complete lower separately.

Re: AR10 recommendations?
The DPMS G2s have always caught my eye as far as the AR10 world goes since they're pretty lightweight.
