His "confidence" (faked) that Americans will obey the law defies logic.

Why not just ban mass shootings?

He's an idiot. Someone is paying him well to make a spectacle of himself.

As an American, I will obey the law (as laid out in the ultimate source, the constitution of the USA), so where is the problem?

Beavis could do no such thing. The Congress needs to do it by passing the appropriate legislation and then, and only then, could a President Beavis see that the law was enforced by the agents of the Executive Branch of the government.

So, I'm still wondering how this proposed offer works.

Do folks need to get laser scanded or photographed - as if driving through the PA turnpike toll boths?

Would they pay for these items according to cost basis or legitimate Fair Market Values?

Is this a transaction subject to Federal laws and PA's tax laws? Like you're gonna owe something if you just want to get rid of stuff???

And how does this make a community safer?

    I wonder...

Hey, just kidding - it's all about confiscation of 2A rights.

Beto is just the "Drummer Boy" for the Left. He is there to keep the beat going on gun control & get the Left up in arms about guns. He's the "human shield" they have marching out front on this issue, knowing he will catch flak over the issue, but keep it in the news. He never had a chance at winning anything, all of it was media hype to make it look like he was a contender.

Ignore him, he is a diversion of our attention and resources. Keep focused on local/state firearms issues that we actually can act on.

Theory: someone is paying him to be a "useful idiot" to "push" gun control extremes, so other candidates can come in and be more "moderate", yet still get the confiscation they desire.

A law would first have to be passed by the Congress. Beavis O'Rourke cannot make new gun control laws all by himself - that would be patently unconstitutional.
