Default Will be open carrying in Philly tomorrow - question

I’m going to be in a documentary with a European youtuber who is traveling across America to learn about American culture and customs. They are interested in the gun culture in America and as such, I am deciding to be open carrying while we walk around the city. I just moved back to PA after 7 years in Virginia - are things still the same with the Philly PD? If I’m stopped and asked to show my LTCF, am I obligated under law (or case law more specifically) to show it to them? Thank you and I miss you guys; hope all has been well.

Commonwealth vs Hicks... read the decision.

You will most likely get harassed anyway... Viper has a good post about his most recent action with Philly PD after the court decision.. Bring your camera phone and film/document any PD interaction.

Or... avoid the possible hassle and CCW.

The whole day will be documented and live streamed to the internet so I’m covered there.

I’d like to OC though to demonstrate that Americans cherish and exercise their rights , even if it is inconvenient or troublesome . I’ll do some reading about that case. Thank you.

The only thing inconvenient is NOT having a firearm.

What is troublesome, the hoops to jump through just to exercise that right, or to have some justified reason for carrying, other than self defense.

Welcome back to the forum! Haven't seen you post in a long time.

It's all going to be in how you handle yourself, uni. They still want to talk to open carriers sometimes, and OC seems to have become a hot topic again with WalMart and other retailers tucking their tails between their legs for fear of frustrating the extremist left.

You do you. Are we really only a dozen or so miles apart and we haven't gotten together?

So how did the OC go in Phila.? What did the Europeans think of it? Neighbors of mine had two couples from England visiting and we took the two guys to a nearby quarry and let them shoot pistols and rifles. They were amazed that we walked, openly carrying, to the quarry. They videoed us and themselves shooting. Wowed the folks back home in Blighty.
