Magazine coming loose while shooting
I was at the range yesterday with my wife. I was shooting a Smith and Wesson Bodyguard .380. Every shot or 2 the magazine would drop out. At first I thought I was hitting the magazine release with my trigger finger. I was not.
My wife had her Smith and Wesson Bodyguard .380 also. Her gun was shooting fine. We switched magazines. When she used mine the magazine was coming loose also in her gun. Her magazine was shooting fine in my gun.
Not a big deal. I bought about 10 of the magazines on sale a couple of years ago so I can toss the one that was not working
But I am curious what caused this. I have never experienced this before. Anyone know what was going on?

Re: Magazine coming loose while shooting
I've had glock mags wear out on my PCC. The retaining edge of the plastic mag gets worn down from the mag release. Then they would randomly drop out during competition. Yep. Seen it. Toss em. Or buy your next ones from Brownell's and send em back via Brownell's lifetime warranty program.
