    Arrow What is this?

The other day I picked some brass up at the range I've never seen before. The head stamp says " Speer, 357 sig ''. The case is about as long as a 40 caliber brass. Any ideas on what that is? Joe

.357 sig is exactly what it looks like, a .40S&W-ish case necked down to use 9mm bullets. I say 40-ish because you can't make it from .40 brass.

Correct. You can make it from 10mm brass but would be large primer. (Unless you find some of the more rare small primer non toxic Speer cases).
