Re: reporter gun buy fail
This reminds me of the anti-gun reporter from Illinois a few years ago who tried to buy a gun to show how easy it was, and then failed the background check due to a domestic violence charge.

Re: reporter gun buy fail
I went to Walmart with the intention of buying a gun last week as part of an investigation into the placement, selection, marketing, and security of firearms in Walmart's stores, and to learn more about the retailer's processes governing gun sales.
But my liberal friends and colleagues, none of whom own guns, told me I could buy dog food, some new shoes, and a gun of my choosing while going through the self checkout.

Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

I didn't get ANY of that vibe at all.
If she was as "anti" as that, she would have either NOT published her results, or she would have done it until it could be twisted to suit her agenda.
I didn't see an agenda here.
It's almost like when a noob posts a valid question on the forum, and you always have a few people who shout "TROLL!"
Some people have everyone "pegged" as something nefarious no matter what.

True. The fact that she was willing to post the actual facts leads me to believe that she is at least neutral on the issue, if not pro gun.

Re: reporter gun buy fail
I saw the thread title and thought I'd see this, maybe there's another thread someone about this one, if not ....
Liberal Chicago Sun-Times Journalist Reporter Neil Steinberg attempted to purchase an AR-15 "assault weapon" rifle from a local gun store, in an attempt to display how easy the process is, but failed in an epic way, then he attempted to bury the story.
