Ah, yes. Albrightsville, one of the favorite entries on the police page of my local paper. There are sections of State Forest near there and State Parks. Both butt up against State Game lands. Their rules are a little different toward carrying long arms around. But hey, do what you want to do, you will anyway.

If you have a License to Carry a Firearm you have a License to Carry a Firearm. Is it a case of open carry while on State Gamelands, State Forests or State Parks? Open carry mean open carry and it was just recently decided by the PASC that the sight of a firearm is not enough to believe you are suspect in the commission of a crime. The power of State Game laws has to be reeled in. There is no longer a King or Nobles but some think of themselves that way.

You can't mess with the Pa State Game commission. They are a autonomous organization who can make up any rules they want. Their rules even supersede state laws.

I believe the statute that prohibits carrying of loaded long guns (not firearms) in cars is from the state game laws. I don't believe it is written in the state laws. But I might be wrong (and I am sure I will hear if I am).

State Park and Forest laws are NOT PA Game Commission laws.

State game laws are state laws. They're just under Title 34 and not Title 18. In some places the two conflict substantially.
