Default what is value of 1911 Colt Government .45

I have a 1911 Colt Government .45 with original US Army leather holster and 1 clip, manufactured in 1912, it seems to be in decent shape it was stored in a plastic bag at my in-laws house. I know nothing about handguns btw.

You'll definitely need to post photos for anyone to evaluate condition. We need photos of markings, grips, stamps, etc. I'm no expert on 1911's so please take the below with a grain of salt.

I believe that the Colt 1911 wasn't produced commercially until 1913 and thus yours should have an NRA stamp below the serial number (only 100 of these produced (by Colt and Springfield) in 1912).

If it is truly made in 1912, is an NRA 1911, and is in good condition, it will be worth a lot more to formal collectors than an average Joe. Think thousands, not hundreds.

There is also a chance that you are reading the patent date as the date of manufacture....

Be careful. You said "you were given a 1911 Colt.....". Hopefully you mean it was transferred to you. One can not be given handguns only under very limited circumstances. In-laws are not one of them.

I can never remember how large of a picture can be uploaded but if it is too big it just won't load. It will not give you an error message, it just won't load.

If you are trying the built in picture loader, they cannot be bigger than 1K in size, or they will not load. Most newer phones need to have them resized. Email them to your self and select either medium or large and you should be able to use them. Go for the largest one that fits.
