Range Report - KG (Karri's Guns) 5.56 Savior Carbine w/ SS 1:7 Barrel.
I wanted to try something...I wanted to find the most inexpensive (read:cheap) AR I could find without being plastic, and JUST see if it could hold a candle to anything in it's range (PSA, Anderson, etc)
Gun.deals, the site that just keeps on giving, brought me to Karri's guns. Now, I had picked up an upper from them a few years back and it ran fine, so When I saw this: https://karrisguns.com/kg-savior-556...tainless-steel, I knew I'd found it.
It's fairly impressive, all things considered: 16" 416R Stainless Steel 1x7 5.56 Barrel, 11" Free Float M-LOK Hand Guard, A2 Muzzle Break, and BCG is an M16 Style Nitride QPQ Finish
So fuck it, I bought it. Came with 1 pmag, in 2 pieces, in 3 days. Not bad. I threw a TRS-25 (Gold Letter) Red Dot on a lifter, lubed the bolt, and off I went.
On the range, I expected it to blow up...I expected it to seize up with the ULTRAMAX .223 55gr remans I picked up the day before...I expected the shots to be all over the place with nary a care.
Well, it ate 50 rounds, with no issue, and I had it on target at 50 yards in less than a mag.

I like it, I'm gonna keep it, and if anyone decides to pick one up, I hope you have the same results.
Be well.

Glad to hear you had a good experience. Was that free shipping as well?
