They want the gun handed over still in the holster.
I would imagine they would take an entire rig if requested.

i figured as much, i wouldn't hand them a safetyless chambered 9mm.
guess i'm disassembling it and changing back to the paddle.

Since I want to show my side by having my holster, it looks like not bringing my Sig, and wearing the holster is probably the best option. Unless they prohibit empty holsters as well.

There have been guys that have worn empty holsters in the past.
You may get some flack depending on who you deal with, but it has been reported as technically acceptable.

But I do have a safe in my truck. So I was able to lock my weapon in the truck.

If you must leave your weapon with the Capital Police. Do you have an extra holster to wear empty in the Capital ??
