Default Mental Health Commitment Expungement Attorney List

In case anyone here is looking for a good attorney to use for an expungement of a mental health commitment/relief from the prohibition from possessing a firearm due to a mental health commitment in Pennsylvania, here is a good place to start.
If you are a mental health commitment expungement attorney or know someone who is but isn't on the list, please let me know and I'll be glad to add them.

Just a word of warning from my attorney and I: DO NOT USE A LAWYER WHO DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DO A MENTAL HEALTH EXPUNGEMENT PROPERLY. They could mess it up and it will be expensive.

Can we make this a sticky? (since lots of people here are asking about 302 expungements) Or if not this, a regular list of gun lawyers (with indicators next to their names with their specialties, i.e. MHX for mental health expungement, P for pardon, VUFA for the defense of violations of the uniform firearms act, NFA for National Firearms Act, FFL for Federal Firearms License etc.)?

Great idea, but with the warning from your own attorney in mind, who decides if a particular lawyer "knows how" to properly serve in a particular area?

If I want to put "John Smith" on the list, and somebody else here had a bad experience with "John" in their own case, what happens?

I bet they'll be pretty busy with the up and coming new background checks and Red Flag laws.

I'm guessing finding an attorney (on your own) who has a track record of successful 302 expungements is difficult due to client-attorney privacy issues?

An attorney could make a claim as to numbers/wins/losses, etc., but couldn't hand out a list of names and numbers for verification. The same would apply to any attorney and/or area of practice.

You're certainly right that there are problems with handing out a list of lawyers. Some lawyers have a list of client reviews, but as we all know lists of reviews can be very unreliable. I wanted to make this list to make it easy for someone who needs to find a lawyer for a mental health expungement to find what they need. I was struggling to find a lawyer near where I live for my 302 expungement (the first lawyer I contacted was on the other side of the Commonwealth) until someone on PAFOA mentioned that they used someone in Norristown, which is about a half-hour drive from where I live. The way I found these attorneys was:
1: Looking on court docket search websites to see which lawyers were handling the 302 expungement cases
2: Typing in "302 Expungement" "Mental health expungement" etc. into google to see which law firms and lawyers would come up.

I should add: HIRE AN ATTORNEY AT YOUR OWN RISK. It is your money, do your research before hiring a lawyer.

You're certainly right, however, every lawyer that does 302 expungements also does something else, usually firearms law and criminal defense. They're always busy with something.
