I got my approval letter today to pick up my license, so that made 34 days.

Within the law, but with the Pennsylvania INSTANT Check System, why does it take so long? So the pervert stalking the young woman won't get shot when he finally assaults her?

    We need permitless carry...

I guess it wasn't too bad for Philly. I seriously doubt PA will ever go Constitutional carry, sad to say.

Picked up my new license today. I wanted to use up the weeks I had left on my old license (and still I lost two days on it ). Oh well, I'm good for another (God willing) five years now.

PA has constitutional carry, it is written in the state's constitution, more explicitly than what is written in the US constitution.

    Pa's UFA violates that.

Bucks county never sent out 60-day notices for all the years a particular sheriff held the office. Don't know what the current sheriff is doing.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

I already printed out my proofs of residency and got a MO. I only need to get a passport sized pic. Any help appreciated.
So...you need to provide your own photo? Philadelphia is really strange. And a money order? Erie only takes cash.

Yes, a passport sized photo and a $20.00 money order made out to the city of Philadelphia. I'm glad I only need to go through all of that every five years.

Columbia county used to be like that too. Where you had to provide your own photo. Not sure if it is still like that now.
