Default Thank you and you didn't know you helped

I've been pocket carrying .380s for a number of years. Started with the P3-AT, then, after being less than thrilled by the P3-AT sights, I switched to a Beretta Pico. The Pico is a lovely pistol, part defensive weapon, part work of art, with lovely sights. The problem is that there are really no excellent pocket holsters for these. So then I read about the LCP Custom, the Ruger LCP with the red trigger and the good sights. Bought one and took it to the range - and it hung up on every shot. I was bitterly disappointed. That's where you guys came in. I searched on LCP and found that the first generation LCPs had weak recoil springs. I read a couple of threads about this and discovered that there were choices for the spring. I ended up putting in a Wolf 12 pounder. Bingo! Now that thing eats anything I feed it.
So. Thanks to the Pistol Forum and the discussion threads about LCP springs. Sights about as good as Pico, availability of good pocket holsters, and goes bang every time. Even has good accuracy when I go practice at range. Poofa people are great resources.

There indeed is a wealth of good information here. Sometimes you have to sift through some stuff but the info is definitely available.
Did you try the generic fit pocket holsters with the Pico? It’s a shame that a good gun isn’t getting used for what it was intended.
