This guy makes some good points at times but you have to take anything he says with a grain of salt because he believes it's un-Constitutional to have any sort of government. Red Flag laws under the auspices of the Federal government would be the worst case scenario. There would virtually be no protections for the average every day citizen because of the huge inequality of power and resources between citizen's and the Federal Government. The average citizen just doesn't have the kind of resources to defend themselves from the resources brought to bear by the federal Government.

These Red Flag laws are no different than Civil Forfeiture laws where law enforcement shops around looking for easiest pickings. If law enforcement come to find out you have a collection of rare and valuable firearms that is worth a lot of money they can use either civil forfeiture, equitable sharing or in the near future Red Flag laws to confiscate those rare and valuable firearms from you to be distributed to whoever they choose. It will usually be their backers or those that pull the strings in that jurisdiction though leaving you to fend against unlimited resources.

These new Red Flag laws are specifically set up to enrich the already powerful using the government as their agents. It's how it works and it's how it always has worked. The US Constitution was drafted by the founders to stop these common practices by the powerful but now the Constitution seems to have been usurped, administered and generally ignored by the powerful. It's easy for them to do too because the citizenry is uninformed, does not participate in the process and feel threatened by a government that uses the tax money of the citizenry to obtain and keep more and more power for themselves.

Ive seen that guy too and I agree, he does make a lot of good points and I admire his stance on freedom and liberty but he goes way overboard on his views of any kind of government or law enforcement.

Why do people fearing guns call persons with guns (cops) when threatened?
