So when are the Feds going to allow medical marijuana patients to own guns?

I am really interested in trying medical MJ. I have two of the qaulifying conditions. I believe it's safer than the medication I currently use. The problem is that I would violate federal law by using medical MJ while owning guns. I can take Xanax and own guns. I can drink and own guns. I could take opiates and own guns. I could legally take many substances that are far more dangerous than MJ and own guns. My doctor offered me Xanax for my anxiety. I refused it. Xanax is as bad as heroin and the detox can be fatal. I swear to god I hate legislators. Worthless people who I pay with my taxes just so they can make my life harder. I read something online that there is a bill in the works to clear up this issue but I haven't heard anything more about it. The issue is that MJ is a schedule one substance under Federal law meaning it has no medical value. I guess I'll just have to wait for the Feds to get their heads out of their asses before I can try medical MJ.

As soon as they ban guns you can smoke all you want. What is more likely to happen is all those drugs will become prohibiting factors as well, other will deem you mentally incompetent to own guns if you need any drugs to treat mental illness.

Of course it will. So will any prescribed medications for depression, anxiety, pain, etc.
That, coupled with obscene taxes on both guns and ammunition is how the socialists will essentially void the 2nd without actually getting rid of it.

Remember that war on drugs that started back in the 1980s, when that ends, then you can have guns with drugs.

33 States have legalized MJ for medical purposes and 10 have legalized it for recreational purposes. The feds are going to feel the pressure from states to change their tune. But then again the Feds haven't overturned the NFA of 1968 inspite of most states having more relaxed gun laws. The feds suck toes. The South was right. We should be a Confederacy. States governments are trying to give their constituents what they want and the Feds just piss in their kool aid. The feds need to stick to international affairs, delivering mail, and minding their business.

This actually has more to do with the NFA of 1968. Weed has been Federaly prohibited since 1936. This started well before the war on drugs.
