My guess is that he wants to run for Governor. This is Wolf's last term (thankfully), and he is trying to get name recognition for the Democrat primaries. He is USING the gun control issue purely for political gain like all the other Democrat politicians. They all know that taking away semi auto rifles from the law aboding won't reduce crime, nor violence at all. They DON'T CARE.

It is not about reducing violent crime, but getting guns away from the law abiding and convincing the useful idiots that it is good for society. The media is helping them greatly.
